The Aguadilla Incident

A U.S. Customs and Border Protection patrol aircraft flying a night patrol out of Rafael Hernández Airport captured mid-wave infrared video of an unidentified object maneuvering through the airport environment and out over coastal water. The clip became a centerpiece technical case for independent analysts.

The Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies published extensive analysis arguing against mundane candidates; AARO later released case-resolution material assessing lantern-like objects drifting with the wind. Destroyed tower audio and FOIA friction make the custody story almost as important as the pixels.
